The Amazing Adventures
of Beebee the Bison is a children's book that tells the story of the coming of the first herd of Bison to Catalina Island.
They were moved from their home in South Dakota to the island to appear in a silent film. When production was done they were left to fend for themselves.
The story is narrated by Beebee and her bison companion Daisy. It is a tender story about enduring friendship and adapting to whatever challenges life brings.
